Operational Assessment

Prior to conducting any flight operations, the Remote Pilot in Command must conduct an operational assessment. The assessment must include the following:

Local weather conditions

Local airspace and flight restrictions

Location of persons and property

Ground hazards

After conducting the operational assessment, the Remote Pilot in Command must ensure that there is enough available power for the small UAS to operate for the intended operational flight time.
